Flies transport more dangerous pathogens than probably any other insect. They reproduce with ruthless efficiency: an entire generation of flies (from egg to adult) only takes 12-14 days. Highly adapted for flying and bestowed with legendary reflexes, it has compound eyes for detecting fast movement but no means to defend itself other than to fly away.

PestBusters uses light traps and sticky-boards to exploit a critical weakness in most flies, which are intrinsically attracted to ultraviolent light. After we identify the flies caught in the traps, we home in on their breeding source for total elimination.
We will carry out inspection at potential breeding sources. Our recommended treatment is misting and spraying at possible breeding sources (gully traps, drains, sewages). However, misting treatment would only achieve a quick kill.
To solve a flies infestation problem at its roots, we would need to locate the source of the breeding, some examples being gully traps and garbage piles. Once the breeding source is eliminated, the sanitation level of your office has to be improved as flies are most effectively controlled through proper sanitation. Remove garbage, pet faeces or droppings and other decaying plant and animal matter properly and regularly. These should be disposed in tied plastic bags and not dumped in the open.
For F&B: We can install UV Light traps that cover the area of up to 1.5m off the floor. Light traps should not be installed near the food preparation area, as during the zapping process small fragments of insects may contaminate food preparation surfaces and attract other flying insects. Light traps are used to monitor flies’ activities. Flies are most effectively controlled through proper sanitation.
If you apply fertilizers in your garden, be sure to cover the manure (Organic Fertilizer) with a layer of earth or soil so as not to leave the manure exposed to flies for breeding.
To prevent flies from entering certain premises, windows and doors can be fitted with screens in kitchens, restaurants and eating houses where the spraying of insecticides is undesirable. Air curtains can also be installed at the entrance / door of F&B outlets to prevent flies from entering the premises.
The premises must be free of all exposed food sources and food wastes, which the flies can feed on.
